He was loved by all, except Cassius.

Cassius was snake like, cunning and crafty, very good with changing peoples perception with a flick of his tounge. Cassius's dislike of Ceaser is more of a jealousy than anything else. Cassius knew he could convince Brutus to switch over to his side, to go against Ceaser. Cassius needed to do this because he knew that if the citizens, the people of Rome, saw the noble Brutus stand up and say that Ceaser is bad, he is not to be trusted that those citizens would belive him. Cassius does get Brutus to come over to his side. Brutus starts working with Cassius to develop a plan to kill Ceaser, several more influential people come over to the conspirators side. They work diligently until they come up with a plan to kill Ceaser, they will kill him as he recives his crown to become the emporer of Rome.

Ceaser's wife, Calphurnia, has a nightmare of the crowning ceremony. A night mare in which Ceaser dies a bloody death, one which the people of Rome bathe in his blood, she begs him to stay home. Ceaser decides to stay home until Decius, a conspiriter, convinces Ceaser that it was all a misinterpritation. Ceaser goes to be crowned where he is murdered. In comes Mark Antony, Ceasers best friend and most trusted ally. Mark Antony convinces the conspiritors to allow him to give Ceaser a proper burial and to give a speech at Ceasers funeral. The common towns people, the uneducated masses have no one to look up to now that Ceaser is dead so they look up to the conspirators, until Antony's famous speech in which he convinced the unwashed masses that they should go against the killers of Ceaser without ever saying anything of the sort. The towns people formed a riot killing many of the conspirators and pushing Cassius and Brutus far away from Rome.
